Rescue Dog of the Week

Hi everybody!

My name is Moby Wonderdog and I want to be your new best friend! I am an 18 month old American Staffordshire/Whippet mix (with a little bit of yorkie, dachshund, Irish Wolfhound, and Bull Terrier thrown in for good measure)!

I used to be scared of lots of things – cats (they are descendants of lions – that’s SCARY!), vacuum cleaners, even people! Foster Mom and Dad have worked really hard to show me that people can be pretty cool if you give them a chance!

They have introduced me to puzzles like the Kong Wobbler and the heavenly treat that they call “peanut butter.” Now I am not as afraid as I used to be – even the bathtub isn’t the scary place I once thought it was!

I am quite dapper, as you can see. While my Foster Mama is happily married, she’s told me that I am quite the wingman! Whenever we go out on the town together, people stop her in the street to tell her how handsome and well-behaved I am. I smile and wink and offer up my irresistible forehead wrinkles to be scratched. If you are looking to meet the love of your life, maybe I could help you with that? It’d be the least I could do if you gave me a home of my very own!

My favorite things are cuddling, snuggling, and more cuddling!

I’m also pretty partial to a rousing game of tug with my rope toy or endless hours playing catch – I am always up for a game. I carry my ball around with me everywhere, just in case! Foster Mom thinks I would be a whiz at Flyball or even a disc dog, like my hero Wallace!

I would love to live in a home with an active family (going on walks is one of my passions) who will love me and help me learn how to be the best wonderdog I can be! You can read more about me and my adventures on my Foster Mom’s blog, Our Waldo Bungie, and if you think I might be the wonderdog for you, check me out on the Unleashed website.

With wags and kisses,
