StubbyDog’s Rescue Dog of the Week is sponsored by Zobo Pet Products, who will be giving away a free collar for every dog adopted through this program.

Chuck is an incredibly friendly, flirtatious, even-tempered boy with a lot of emotional stamina. A big guy who enjoys play and contact with both people and dogs, Chuck will eagerly come up for pets, play, and attention. (Bonus: he’s not camera-shy!)

He is as smart as a whip, and can learn cues and tricks in no time at all. He loves to romp around with a toy in his mouth, and if you get on the floor with him he will roll over and over until he is conveniently close enough for a good long belly scratch. A staff and volunteer favorite at The Anti-Cruelty Society, Chuck is a preferred “demo” dog for training volunteers, as well as the go-to guy for play time with other shelter dogs. As long as he gets adequate daily exercise he should be content to curl up and snuggle during the evenings. He is an all-around boisterous, loving, and entertaining boy.

Chuck is available through The Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago, IL. You can visit the website or check them out on Facebook.

Chuck was actually adopted yesterday (I believe) and will go to his new home tomorrow at 5pm! We do have plenty of other amazing dogs at ACS that need homes 🙂

Aww, I love the last two photos with the rope tug — upside down and looking left. 😀
