StubbyDog’s Rescue Dog of the Week is sponsored by Zobo Pet Products, who will be giving away a free collar for every dog adopted through this program.

Meet Dayz! She came to Pawzitive Petz Rescue from a local shelter that was called to ‘come pick up the dogs’ when someone decided to move and not take their dogs with them. She was brought in with Donny Boy (aka Donald) and it was obvious they were a breeding pair. She is totally devoted to him, but does well alone as well she just doesn’t like other dogs near him when they are outside together.

Dayz is a big, goofy girl who likes to play. She races around the yard smiling and acting like a bulldozer but never actually runs into anyone. She does well one-on-one with other dogs, but needs to get to know them first. She doesn’t like everyone at first, sometimes she has to think about it but she’s never been aggressive, she just barks to let you know she’s not sure yet. She doesn’t bark in her crate or when playing, she’s good with bigger kids (just because of her size), cats haven’t been introduced.

Dayz would like a home where she can spend time in a fenced yard, have people to play with, and then a comfy place to nap. She’s about 3 years old, spayed, current on vaccines and heart worm preventative, and is micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $95.

You can find out more about Dayz, by visiting Pawzitive Petz Rescue on the web. Pawzitive Petz Rescue is located in Verona, Kentucky.
