The TV show has good and bad that go along with it. On a good note, it has increased our adoption rate quadruple-fold! Along with that, we are helping change the image that the pit bull has had to carry around for so many years. Nothing like an international reality TV series to show everyone how great these dogs can be!

About a month into their volunteering, they saw her: a stout little girl with a big mouth and a huge tongue hanging out of it. A basketball player who used to make headlines for his bad boy antics is now in the news for helping a dog in need. In early July, a Memphis, Tenn., pit bull terrier was rescued after he’d gotten himself stuck in a drainage pipe.
