Carla Lou was rescued at the age of 1 year old where she went to live with Deirdre “Little Darling” Franklin. Together, they founded Pinups for Pitbulls and set about changing minds and misconceptions.

I think my favorite thing Jema has the ability to do is change the mind of close to everyone she meets who isn’t familiar with what a dog of her age or breed type is capable of.

Peaches The Wonder Pit

I fell in love with her at first sight. We normally don’t find foster homes for adult dogs, but I couldn’t resist bringing her home with me that night. She was a little nervous at first, but soon figured out that the sofa was soft, the treats were yummy, and the cat was friendly.
