I always thought I could never foster. I would often volunteer to walk dogs or play with them on weekends, but I always thought fostering would be way too hard and that I’d never be able to let them go after forming a strong bond with them.

I fell in love with her at first sight. We normally don’t find foster homes for adult dogs, but I couldn’t resist bringing her home with me that night. She was a little nervous at first, but soon figured out that the sofa was soft, the treats were yummy, and the cat was friendly.

Pasha is the poster child of an older, well-behaved, people-, child- and dog-friendly girl who ended up in an unfortunate situation. My daughter adores her and showers her with attention, all of which Pasha loves.
