A & S Rescue / Cary, Illinois

Mission statement: A & S Rescue is a small rescue group dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for American Staffordshire Terriers and American Pit Bull Terriers in northern Illinois.

A & S believes that AmStaffs and pit bulls have gotten a bad reputation by having careless or cruel owners who neglect them or use them in illegal ways. Under no circumstances will rescue AmStaffs or pit bulls be put into homes where the dog will be subjected to dog fighting. A & S is strongly opposed to all forms of dog fighting and similar forms of animal abuse. We occasionally accept other breeds in need.
