Rescue Dog of the Week

Charlotte has been in rescue since she was 3 months old. She had a rough start in life, but has come a long way and recently passed her Canine Good Citizen Test and has completed several rounds of obedience training! She is a very smart girl and knows all basic commands, and then some. She is extremely loyal, and, although she is shy at first, once she bonds she is one of the most loving dogs you could ever find. She loves car rides and walks and especially loves playing in her fenced yard. She is not only beautiful, but has the personality to match.

Charlotte is searching for that special someone who can overlook her shyness and give her the time she needs to become a loving member of the family.

Please note that Charlotte will only be placed into a forever home that is located within 1.5 hours of Lake & McHenry Counties in Illinois.

If you would like to meet Charlotte, or are interested in adopting her, please contact A & S Rescue or fill out an adoption application here.

StubbyDog offers the Rescue Dog of the Week feature as a way of helping adoptable dogs find forever homes. StubbyDog relies solely and in good faith on information provided by contributing organizations. We do not temperament test, behavior screen, or background check any of the featured dogs, nor are we involved at any point in the adoption process. StubbyDog does not receive any financial incentive or other consideration for providing this service.
