Rerun – Adopted!

December 20, 2012

A Rescue Dog of the Week Special Holiday Edition

Rerun is totally awesome! He is a 63 pound beefcake who loves other dogs, is playful, sweet, and athletic even with his big old head! Rerun is a volunteer favorite and is currently attending training classes with his best buddy volunteer. He is a very quick learner and already knows sit, down, stay, watch me, and walks well on leash.

Rerun was clearly taken care of by whomever had him first; he is crate- and house-trained and in wonderful shape. He is silly, snuggly, affectionate, genuine, and so incredibly handsome. Rerun is living in a foster home where he goes on pack walks with other dogs, is great in his crate, loves to go for walks and meet everyone he can (and everyone wants to meet him! He even stole the show from Ken Foster during a recent book signing – see picture below).

Rerun is neutered, current on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-free and ready to go home! To meet and possible adopt Rerun please complete an application here. Rerun is available through Project Rescue Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.

All Project Rescue Chicago alumni are eligible for assistance from The Rusty Fund if they encounter medical needs after adoption. Founded in honor of Rusty (who is featured on the cover of Ken Foster’s book I’m a Good Dog), this fund is part of the ongoing support offered to all dogs.

StubbyDog offers the Rescue Dog of the Week feature as a way of helping homeless dogs find forever homes. StubbyDog relies solely and in good faith on information provided by contributing organizations. We do not temperament test, behavior screen, or background check any of the featured dogs. StubbyDog does not receive any financial incentive or other consideration for providing this service.
