StubbyDog Superheroes FAQ

We are blown … and I mean blown away by the aaaamazing applications we are getting in already. We also know that there are a lot of questions out there about the whole process, so here are some frequently asked questions about the Superhero Program, application and Crowdrise that might help you out as you are applying.
The Application and Program:
Where do I submit my $25 donation?
Here.
How do I get my video to you?
Best way is to upload the video on to YouTube and send us the link. The video is mandatory for those applying for the Superhero Squad and Superheroes in Training, but optional for those applying for Super-bassadors (although we’d love it if you could do one too). The most important thing we want in the video is to see you and your dog together, interacting and telling us why you’d be a great addition to the Superhero Program.
My dog doesn’t have her/his CGC but has her C.L.A.S.S, can he/she still apply for Superheroes in Training?
Yes, sure can!
Will this position require travel outside my local area?
No. Although you may be invited to events that are farther away from you, but they will always be optional.
I’m a Golden Retriever/Boxer/Rat Terrier/Min Pin/etc., but I support pit bulls, can I apply?
Yes you can. You can apply for our Super-bassador program.
I’m a cat – can I apply?
Yes you can! You can also apply for the Super-bassador program!
I don’t have a dog or any type of animal, but would like to help, can I apply?
Yes, humans are also welcome in our Super-bassador program.
Crowdrise:
Crowdrise is the platform we are using to raise the funds needed for this program. There will be more information on this after the application process and lots of fun ways to get involved (and help both StubbyDog and your local rescues and dogs by doing so), but until then best idea is to start joining and recruiting for Superhero teams!
How do I login to Crowdrise?
Go here:
Login in either with your Facebook account or a different account you create.
What do I do next?
Join a team or start your own. We have a whole bunch of regional teams set up (hint, when you join and help fundraise for your regional teams you will be also helping them compete for some super secret, yet to be unveiled prizes that will specifically help dogs, rescues and shelters in your region).
Or, if you have a specific shelter/rescue/cause or organization you want to fundraise to help compete for these prizes you are more than welcome to start your own team
Then what?
1) Put on your Superhero cape
2) Start recruiting people to join your team
3) Start raising funds
… do the above faster then a speeding bullet, while leaping tall buildings in a single bound.
