Bruno

June 14, 2012

StubbyDog’s Rescue Dog of the Week is sponsored by Zobo Pet Products, who will be giving away a free collar for every dog adopted through this program.

It’s big head Bruno! Bruno came to the Humane Society of Calvert County because he was found living in a county with a ban on pit bull dogs and was taken into animal control. The Humane Society of Calvert County took one look at this big beautiful boy and knew that we would love to help him to find his forever home.

But Bruno has a lot more going for him than his stunning good looks! Bruno is the world’s best snuggler. He also loves swimming and can often be seen in one of the shelters swimming pools or on a day trip to the Chesapeake Bay where he is always the first one in the water! Bruno is house trained and knows basic obedience. He is even working on earning his Canine Good Citizen certification. Bruno would prefer to be an only dog, but he likes cats and would be perfectly happy in a home with them.

Bruno is a staff and volunteer favorite and though they will all shed a tear when he finds his forever home, they will be tears of joy. Could you be the one to give Bruno the home that he deserves?

The Humane Society of Calvert County is located in Maryland. For more information on Bruno, please visit us on the web. You can also find us on Facebook.
