Ghostdog

November 3, 2011

StubbyDog’s Rescue Dog of the Week is sponsored by Zobo Pet Products, who will be giving away a free collar for every dog adopted through this program.

It’s Halloween and what better day to showcase Ghostdog! He is named so because of his beautiful white coat. This gorgeous boy has so much to offer. Check out those eyes! The staff and volunteers love the two different colors!

Ghost dog came in to the Washington Humane Society as a stray, but we know that at one point he must have had a home because he came in knowing sit and stay. And talk about housetrained! It is a rule that Ghostdog be taken out first because he will hold it for such a long time. Poor guy, he will absolutely not have an accident in his kennel. Whoever adopts him will not have to worry about housetraining!

Trick or treat? With Ghostdog, you can have both! Because he knows basic obedience, the volunteers at the WHS are now working on teaching him tricks. As for the treats, he loves them and is very food motivated!

Ghostdog is great with other dogs and is an event superstar. He can often be seen out and about in DC. He loves playing with the dogs in playgroups and would be great in a home with other dogs who also want a buddy to play with. Kids, yep, he likes them, too! And if you have a kid that is looking for someone to dress up, Ghostdog is the dog for you! He knows how good he looks in his Halloween best and is all for playing dress up. He’s the whole package!

So treat yourself this Halloween and come on down and adopt Ghostdog!

Ghostdog is available at the Washington Humane Society, which is located in Washington D.C. Check out their website, or visit them on Facebook.
